| The author, Floyd M. Grooms, was born in Nebraska, lived in Iowa, was raised in Missouri and became a naturalized Texan when he married his wife Lucille who was a born Texan. They have been married for over 64 years. He entered the United States Military in 1940 and served for over 23 years. His last 15 years of service were served in the Counterintelligence field as a Special Agent of the Office of Special Investigations. He served overseas on both sides of the USA as well as the South Pacific during WWII with the 9th Fighter Squadron, 49th Fighter Group, 5th Air Force as a Crew Chief of a P-38 Lightning. He retired in 1964 in Washington, D.C. and bid farewell to active military life and started a new life style in Real Estate. He and his wife Lucille opened their own real estate office and subsequently moved to Phoenix, AZ where they lived until just recently when they moved to Naples, FL. Grooms is an avid gambler and as he was getting up in years he decided to pass on the information he had learned over the many years of gambling. He wrote the book "Betting Between Sevens" that was founded on over 67 years of gambling experience. That book was a book on Craps and he now has completed his 2nd book "Roulette at its Best" which he hopes will also help gamblers leave the casinos as a winner. |

Author Floyd Grooms will be signing his 2nd book "ROULETTE AT ITS BEST' on Gambling at BORDERS BOOK STORES on March 31, 2007 at 6:30 PM during the Grand Opening of Borders new store located at 10037 Gulf Center Drive, Ft Meyers, FL in the Gulf Coast Town Center Mall at I-75 and ALICO ROAD. You are all cordially invited to meet the Author and feel free to ask him any questions that might come to mind. 18 Oct 2007 - Author Floyd Grooms will be teaching "How to play craps" and "How to play Roulette and signing his books "Betting Between Sevens" and "Roulette at its Best" at Lely Players Club, Naples, FL 34113. This is a private club so he is unable to invite you all to visit him. 20 Oct 2007 - Author Floyd Grooms will be signing his books "Betting Between Sevens" and "Roulette at its Best" at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 5377 Tamimia Trail, Naples Fl, between 2 and 4 PM on the 20th of Oct 2007. You are invited to visit with him at that time. |
